Cathy Connor: Born on Boston's Northshore, Cathy attended Montserrat College of Art. As a founding member of the Inn Street Gallery in Newburyport during the early 1980's she began a career as an artist who always explored the unconventional, non-traditional forms of expression. Her strong emotional attachment to the natural world takes shape in imagined landscapes filled with animals, birds, people and their symbols, all swimming on the edge of a reality that is at times surreal, and moody, and challenging.
